Roads death toll rises after Co Antrim crash
A man has died following a serious road accident on the Glenavy Road in Co Antrim.
The accident involved a car and lorry on Wednesday afternoon.
The road was closed for a time and traffic was diverted from the area.
Police investigating the collision are appealing for any witnesses to contact them at Lisburn station on 028 9266 5212.

Local roads get record £80m spend
A record £80 million will be spent on structural roads maintenance this year across Northern Ireland. The figure was revealed by Deputy Divisional Roads Manager, Tom McCourt as he presented DRD Roads Service’s autumn report to Newtownabbey Borough Council. Mr McCourt said: "This is a huge increase in investment over previous years.

Motor Bikers Die
The roads have claimed more victims across Ireland after two motorcyclists were killed in separate NI road crashes and a car driver was fatally injured in Kerry. In Co Down, a biker was travelling along the Comber Road in Killyleagh when he came off his machine on Sunday evening.
