Man arrested after weapons find
Police in north Belfast have arrested a man in connection with the discovery of a quantity of ammunition at the weekend.
The arrest was made on Friday evening after a number of proactive police searches in the area.
A shotgun, ammunition and a number of petrol bombs were recovered, and the man is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
It has been reported that the weapons were found after a stand-off between rival UDA members, just hours after the paramilitary organisation announced that it had appointed a new leadership in north Belfast.

Man Arrested Under Terrorism Act
A man has been arrested under the Terrorism Act in Co Tyrone. The 34-year-old was detained in the Coalisland area on Tuesday, 19 June. He is currently in custody at Musgrave police station. The arrest is in relation to a weapons and ammunition find at a garage in the Mountjoy Road in 2011.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Man Arrested Over Murder Of Conor McKee
A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Conor McKee. Mr McKee was found dead at his home in Glenpark Street in north Belfast on Thursday, 07 January. He had been shot a number of times. The suspect is being questioned at a police station in Belfast.
