Man shot in County Armagh
Detectives in County Armagh have appealed for information after a man was shot in his home yesterday evening.
At around 10.40pm, a 45-year-old man answered the door of his house in the Aghalee area of Lurgan, when he was confronted by a man armed with a shotgun.
The owner of the property turned and, as he tried to run away, he sustained two pellet wounds to his back.
He was taken to hospital, where his condition is not thought to be life threatening.
Police are currently examining a motive for the attack and have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have noticed a suspicious car in the area, to contact police in Lurgan on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Police Cancel Appeal For Missing Omagh Man
Police have said they believe missing Omagh man, Shane Sharkey, has been found in the Republic of Ireland. A police appeal for help in finding the 35-year-old has been cancelled, with police saying they now believe they know where he is. No further details have been released but police thanked the public for their help.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.
