Man arrested over teenager shooting
A 47-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at the weekend in which a teenager was shot.
The arrest is understood to be connected to the shooting of 18-year-old Conor Welding, whose leg had to be amputated after he was approached and shot by two men in the Ard Na Va area of the Falls Road in west Belfast in the early hours of Saturday morning.
This is the second person to be arrested in connection with the shooting.

A man has been arrested in connection with a paramilitary-style shooting in Co L'Derry. A 33-year-old man was shot in the legs and abdomen in the Lisfannon Park area on Tuesday, 08 August. Police described the assault as "brutal and horrific". The 43-year-old suspect was detained in L'Derry on Tuesday, 15 August.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
