One injured in road crash in Newry

One person has been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision on the Rathfriland Road, Newry.

The victim is believed to be have suspected concussion and facial injuries.

The accident occurred at around 7.30am this morning.

The incident involved two vehicles, and the road was closed in both directions.
