Man remanded over incendiary attacks
A 39-year-old man has appeared at Belfast Magistrate's Court charged in connection with two incendiary attacks on businesses in 2005.
Martin Gerard Rafferty, from Fairyknowe Park in Newtownabbey, was charged in connection with the discovery of two incendiary devices, which were found in Forestside Shopping centre near Belfast and the Ards Shopping Centre in Newtownards in March 2005.
During the appearance, a detective sergeant told the court that he believed he could connect Mr Rafferty to the charges.
He was remanded in custody and will reappear in court via video link on December 1.

Viable Incendiary Device Found On Police Station Grounds
A controlled explosion has been carried out on a viable incendiary device discovered on the grounds of Ballycastle Police Station, Co Antrim. A second device found has been declared a hoax. They were discovered on the Ramoan Road on Thursday morning. A number of businesses were forced to close during the alert, however they have now reopened.

Three incendiary devices found under cars
Three incendiary devices have been left under cars in Co Antrim on Friday. Two of the devices were found under vehicles in the Old Staffordstown Road area of Randalstown while a third device was left under a car in Whelan Park at around 9am.
