Council chief receives death threat
The Chief Executive of Craigavon Borough council has been sent a live bullet in the post.
Francis Rock had just returned from holiday, when the death threat was sent to council offices.
It is understood the bullet, was accompanied by a letter demanding that the council scrap plans to reorganise staff within its departments.
The leaders of all political parties on the council have condemned the threat.

Mayor accused of 'gagging' death threat debate
The Mayor of Craigavon has been accused of “gagging” a debate on a death threat against its Chief Executive last week. At the time, the Mayor, Kenneth Tywble condemned the threat, however later stopped the debate, stating legal advice as the reason.

NI Terrorism Threat Level Reduced
PSNI Chief Constable Simon Byrne has welcomed the reduction of the Northern Ireland related terrorism threat level. Chief Constable Byrne said: "Today, we welcome the reduction of the threat level from severe to substantial. The independent assessment means the threat has moved from an attack is 'highly likely', to 'likely'.

Jobs Under Threat At Derry City Council
The head of Derry City Council has said that 14 jobs could be lost as part of a restructuring program. Chief Executive Sharon O’Connor said management is due to be reorganised at the council but those affected would be offered other positions.
