Woman sexually assaulted in County Tyrone
Police in County Tyrone are investigating an indecent assault on a woman at the weekend.
The incident happened at around 6pm on Saturday evening, when the victim, a 26-year-old woman, was making her way along the Maloon View area of Cookstown.
The woman was approached by a man who pushed her against a wall and proceeded to indecently assault her.
A PSNI helicopter and sniffer dogs were used during follow-up searches of the area, however nothing was found.
Detectives investigating the attack have appealed for anyone who was in the Maloon View or Morgan's Hill Road area of Cookstown between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on Saturday and witnessed anything in connection with the attack, or noticed a man around 5'7 in height and dressed in black clothing, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Police have appealed for information after a 24-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in Omagh. The attack is thought to have happened in a walkway in the Johnston Park area between 1am and 3am on Sunday (30 November). Detectives in Belfast are investigating a suspected arson attack on a 5G mast in the Andersonstown Road area. The incident occurred around 9.55pm on Wednesday, November 13th. Detective Sergeant Faulkner confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who successfully extinguished the blaze.

The police said the woman, who is believed to be in her 20s, was walking near to the Seamus Heaney Library in the Belfast university complex at 2am on Friday March 1. The woman was assaulted by a man who emerged from bushes along the pathway at College Park.
