Pensioner robbed in County Down home
Detectives in County Down are appealing for information after a pensioner was robbed in his home yesterday evening.
The incident happened at around 5.40pm, when four men entered the bedroom of the 88-year-old man who was resting in his bed.
One of the men held the pensioner in his bed, while the others ransacked his house, before they made off with a silver pocket-watch.
The victim was not injured during the attack, however he was left badly shaken by his ordeal.
The robbers are all said to have been wearing dark clothing – zipped up over their mouths, and baseball caps. They all spoke with local accents.
Police have asked for anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious in the area around the time of the robbery, or anyone who may have any information in connection with it, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

A 74-year-old man has been assaulted and robbed during a break-in at his home in County Antrim. The incident happened shortly after 12pm on Saturday afternoon, when a man entered the pensioner's home in the Glenburn area of Dunmurry, through an open door.

Credit Union Robbed In West Belfast
A credit union has been robbed in west Belfast. The incident occurred on the Springfield Road on Thursday just after 5pm. Two men, one armed with a firearm, approached a female staff member and demanded money. One of the men was wearing a cream hooded top and the other a black hooded top.

Pensioner robbed in County Armagh home
Police have appealed for information after an elderly woman was robbed in her County Armagh home on Tuesday evening. Shortly after 5pm, the pensioner opened the door of the property in the Colane Road area of Lurgan, after persistent knocking, when three men, aged in their 20's, pushed past her and entered the house.
