Two arrested over petrol bomb attack

Police investigating a petrol bomb attack on a home in west Belfast, have arrested two juvenile males.

The arrests were made yesterday following an attack on a house in the New Barnsley Crescent area of the city shortly after 10pm on Wednesday evening.

Three people aged in their late teens and early 20s were in the property when the incident happened.

A 19-year-old male is said to be in a critical condition due to injuries he sustained during the attack, while two others, a man and a woman, also sustained injuries.

Police are treating the incident as attempted murder and believe the attack to be related to a feud between two families in the area.

A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Man arrested following arson attack
A man has been arrested following an arson attack in north Belfast this morning. The incident occurred in Newington Avenue just before 1am when a van was set alight. Police and fire crews attended the scene shortly afterwards. A police officer suffered minor injuries when she was struck by debris from the van.

Pensioners Flee Bangor Arson Attack
Police in North Down are appealing for information following a suspicious fire at a community hall in the Skipperstone Road area of Bangor on Thursday. At around 9.00pm, petrol was poured over the door of the centre and set alight. A number of pensioners were in the community centre at the time.

Man Charged Over Murder Of Anne O'Neill
A 27-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Anne ONeill. The 51-year-old victim died from her injuries following an incident at a house in the Ardmore Avenue area in Finaghy on Saturday, 21 October. The suspect is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 25 October.

Woman Injured Following Domestic Attack In Clogher
A woman has been injured following a domestic attack in Clogher on Monday, 31 July. The incident started in a house in Clogher and ended outside a shop in Dungannon. The victim, aged in her 40s, sustained injuries to her face and arms. The PSNI are investigating the incident and are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
