'Viable device' found in Coleraine
Army Technical Officers have carried out a controlled explosion after a “viable device” was found in County Londonderry in the early hours of this morning.
Police were called to the scene after receiving reports that a device had been found close to Coleraine Courthouse
The area was sealed off, but has since re-opened.
Further searches of the area are expected to be carried out today.
Detectives investigating the incident are appealing for anyone who may have any information in connection with it, to contact them on 0845 600 8000, or anonymously on the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.

Police Investigate Shooting Incident In L'Derry
Detectives are appealing for information after a young man was shot in the Creggan area on Wednesday night, November 27th. Shortly after 10:10 PM, police received a report that the man, in his late teens, had been shot in the leg. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Man tied up and robbed in Co Antrim
A man has been tied up and robbed at his home in Co Antrim. He was in the garage of his home in the Ballywillan area of Portrush when two men broke in and attacked him. They demanded money and the keys to his van before escaping with a sum of money. The van was later found burnt out near Coleraine.
