Illegal cigarettes seized in County Tyrone
Police in County Tyrone have seized around 60,000 illegal cigarettes during a raid yesterday evening.
Shortly before 8pm, police searched a vehicle in the Victoria Bridge area of Strabane, during which they made the discovery.
One man was arrested, but was later released pending further enquiries.
During a follow-up search in the Shepherds Glen area in Londonderry, officers recovered around 7,000 cigarettes. A sum of cash was also seized during the operation.

Man Charged With Drugs Offences In Co Antrim
A man has been charged with drugs offences in Co Antrim. The 42-year-old man was charged after police seized £30,000 of suspected herbal cannabis in the Ballymoney area. He was arrested on the Frosses Road on Monday. He has been charged with possession of a class B controlled drug and possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply.

Almost Five Million Cigarettes Seized By Police
A significant haul of nearly five million cigarettes and almost 700kg of tobacco has been seized as part of a major operation by police and customs officers in Northern Ireland. The illicit material, worth an estimated £1.9m in duty and taxes that would have been lost, was uncovered during searches in the Banbridge, Carryduff and Ballyclare areas.

Cigarettes seized in Antrim
In an operation involving police and customs officers 80,000 illegal cigarettes have been seized in Antrim. The cigarettes were discovered in a car stopped by police officers at a checkpoint on the Dublin Road on Wednesday afternoon. A man with a Ballymena address was arrested for questioning.
