Trawler located on seabed
One of two missing trawlers that sank off the South of Ireland has been located on the seabed.
The Pere Charles and Honeydew II sank off the south coast in gales last week.
Seven men, five from the Pere Charles and two from the Honeydew II, are missing. Some 20 hours after their trawler sank, two crew from the Honeydew II were rescued from a liferaft.
Irish Coast Guard confirmed that the wreck of what is believed to be the Pere Charles had been located. Divers were due to examine the wreck, but bad weather on Sunday forced the attempt to be abandoned.
Searches off the Waterford coast are continuing in an effort to find the two missing crew members of the Honeydew II.
