Police make two major drugs seizures
Ecstasy tablets worth around £25,000 have been seized in two separate searches last night.
In Belfast, £5000 worth of ecstasy tablets and cannabis was been recovered after a car was stopped and searched close to the city centre.
The car was spotted acting suspiciously in the Lower Falls area and, after a search of the vehicle, the drugs were uncovered. One man was arrested.
And in Portadown 2,000 ecstasy tablets with a street value of £20,000 were recovered during an operation on the Garvaghy Road.
Two men were arrested at the scene. A 27-year-old man is expected to appear at Craigavon Magistrates Court today on charges of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply and of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
An 18-year-old man was released pending further enquiries.

Court Appearances Follow Drugs Seizure
A 32-year-old man has been charged with possession of a Class A drug and possession with intent to supply. The charges relate to an incident in the Drumabreagh Road area of Castlederg in the early hours of Saturday. He will appear before Strabane Magistrates Court on 20 March.

Man arrested after M1 drugs find
Police and the PSNI drug squad have seized a substantial quantity of ecstasy tablets during an operation on the M1 motorway yesterday evening. Shortly before 11.30pm, officers stopped a car on the M1 country bound – close to Broadway, and following a search of the vehicle, recovered several thousand ecstasy tablets.

Police seized a large quantity of Class A drugs, following a planned search at a premises in south Belfast yesterday. An amount of suspected Ecstasy and cocaine, with an estimated street value of £120,000, was recovered during the raid. A 47-year-old man has been arrested and charged with possession of Class A drugs, with intent to supply.

On Friday evening, November 22nd, a vehicle was intercepted and searched in the West Bank Road area of north Belfast.
