Continuity IRA admit planting Dungannon firebomb
The Continuity IRA has admitted to planting a firebomb outside a supermarket in Dungannon on Monday night.
The device, which was found inside a refuse bin at a Tesco supermarket, was described by police as "crude but effective".
The device consisted of flammable liquid attached to a domestic gas cylinder. It was later made safe by Army bomb disposal experts.
SDLP assembly member for the area, Tommy Gallagher, described the attack as an act of madness.
He added: "It's quite clear that there are still a very small number of people with little regard for the lives of others or for the wishes of the great majority of the people of Dungannon."
A similar device was found at a waterworks near Keady in Co Armagh last week.

Hard-Hitting Road Safety Message Delivered To Young People
Over 800 young people from schools in Lisburn and Castlereagh attended a hard-hitting road safety message at the PSNI Road Safe Roadshow on 19 November. The roadshow, supported by AXA Insurance and the Northern Ireland Road Safety Partnership, aims to educate young drivers about the dangers of irresponsible driving.
