Four arrested after police foil robbery
Four men have been arrested during a police operation in south Belfast.
The men were detained after detectives foiled a robbery at the Northern Bank at Finaghy this morning.
A planned operation was mounted and it is understood officers moved in as cash was about to be transferred from a van.
One person was injured, and an ambulance was called to the scene. The injuries are not thought to be serious.
A police spokesperson has said a cash box, knife and two vehicles were seized.
No shots were fired during the incident.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police have raided a number of properties in Belfast that are suspected of being used as brothels. According to reports, a small number of people have been arrested and a number of people, believed to be victims of human trafficking, have been rescued.

'Ikea Five' Remanded On Drugs Charges
Two Dublin residents are among the five men charged with having cannabis worth £700,000 at east Belfast's Ikea store. Lester Keating, 40, of Cornduff Road, Blanchardstown and Paul Bennett, 21, from Ashwood Drive, Clondalkin, appeared in court in Belfast today.

Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping
Police have arrested two men on suspicion of kidnapping. The males, aged 33 and 31, were detained in Co L'Derry. It is believed there arrests are in connection with an incident in the city on Thursday, 26 October. No further details have been released.
