Police injured during Westlink disturbance
Two police officers have been injured following disturbances in Belfast on Thursday evening.
They received minor injuries as they were responding to reports that a number of youths had been throwing stones at vehicles on the Westlink area at around 5pm yesterday afternoon.
Detectives were also forced to leave the area for a short period of time, due to the incident.
No members of the public were injured during the instance, however a number of vehicles are believed to be damaged.
Order was restored after police liaised with community representatives.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Man Seriously Injured Following Crash In L'Derry
A man has been seriously injured following a crash in Co L'Derry. The collision, between a car and a motorbike, happened on the Ballyquinn Road in Limavady at approximately 2.45pm on Saturday, 21 May. A man, aged in his 40s, is being treated in hospital and a woman, aged in her 20s, is being treated for shock.

Masked Men Fire Shots In L'Derry

Police have revisited the scene of a fatal road crash involving a stolen car in south Belfast. Stephen McDaid, 17, died when the stolen car he was in collided with five other vehicles on the Boucher Road on Thursday 26th May.

Police Officers Injured After Vehicles Rammed
Three police officers have been treated in hospital after their vehicles were rammed repeatedly during at attempted vehicle stop in Newry in the early hours of this morning, Thursday 5 January. Two men have been arrested following the incident in the Flagstaff Road area of Cloughoge.
