Motorcyclist dies in County Down road collision
A motorcyclist has died following a road traffic collision in County Down.
It is understood the 29-year-old male, named as Martin Francis McDonald, was riding a motorcycle and collided with a car on the Ardnabannon Road in Castlewellan.
The incident occurred shortly after 6.30pm yesterday evening.
Police in Downpatrick are appealing for any one who witnessed the collision to contact them on: 0845 600 8000 or on the confidential Crimestoppers line on: 0800 555 111.
