Man remanded over brother's murder
A 43-year-old man has appeared in court today charged with the murder of his brother.
William McMillan, 58, died following a knife attack in the Belvoir area last Friday. He had been stabbed in the back and chest at a flat in Grays Park Drive and later died in Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital.
Paul McMillan has been charged with murder and has been remanded to appear by video link at Castlereagh Magistrates Court on 25 may.
A police officer told the court he believed he could connect the accused with the charge.

Man Jailed In Connection With Annahilt Cannabis Farm
The PSNI has welcomed the sentencing of a man at Craigavon Crown Court in connection with a cannabis farm disovered in Annahilt in February, 2023. Clive Weir, from the Annahilt area, was sentenced to 18 months in prison and 18 months on licence.
