Police seize “significant” amount of drugs

Detectives in County Antrim have seized drugs with a street value of around £120,000.

The cocaine was found when police searched a car at Larne Road in Ballymena, yesterday evening.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland described the haul as “significant”. A man and woman are understood to have been arrested at the scene and are currently helping police with their enquiries.

Two men have been charged in connection with a suspected drugs find in Belfast. Police seized cocaine and herbal cannabis, worth an estimated street value of £160,000, after stopping a car in the Duncrue Street area on Wednesday night, 08 February.
