Roads Closed In Craigavon Security Alert

Army bomb experts are examining a suspicious object at Monbrief Road East in Craigavon.

A number of roads have been closed in County Armagh due to the security alert.

The New Line in Craigavon is closed from the Tandragee Road junction to Glenavon Lane and the Monbrief Road East from Roundabout B to Drumgask Road is also closed.

A police spokesperson said the object was discovered on Tuesday during a planned search.

There are no further details at present.
