Residents Call For Flood Prevention
Residents in the Stoneyford area in Co Antrim are asking for flood prevention work to begin as soon as possible.
It comes after heavy rain flooded many homes at Stone Bridge Meadows on Saturday night.
This is the sixth time heavy flooding has occured in the last four years.
Villager Kevin Foxwell said flooding was now happening so regularly that getting insurance was impossible.
Mr Foxwell told BBC Radio Ulster: "This house in particular - this is the fourth time. We can't get insurance for it at all. Because we have had two floods within the year, the insurance company rightly won't cover you. We need the problem fixed, and we need the problem fixed sooner rather than later."
A stretch of the M2 Motorway was also closed for a time due to debris falling from an overhead bridge.
