Youth Held In Double Murder Inquiry
A teenager has been arrested in connection with inquiries into the deaths of two men in Belfast last March.
A PSNI spokesperson said the 16 year-old was arrested in west Belfast.
Edward Burns, 36, was found shot dead at Bog Meadows in west Belfast in the early hours of March 12, 2007. The body of Joseph Jones, 38, was found later the same day with severe head injuries, off Elmfield Street in north Belfast.
Mr Burns was the father of five children, while Mr Jones had three children.
At the time, detectives said they believed that the killings were carried out against a background of tensions within dissident republicanism.
