Campaign Aims To Highlight Sustainable Construction
ConstructionSkills has launched a new campaign in Northern Ireland to make the construction industry aware of how they can deliver sustainable services.
The ‘Sustainable Construction is Your Business' initiative will take the form of a poster campaign, which aims to foster greater awareness of activities such as the recycling of waste material and consideration for site neighbours.
Launching the poster campaign, CITB Chief Executive Allan McMullen, said: “Every person working in the construction industry in the province has a part to play in making sustainable construction the industry norm. As the largest industry in the UK, it is vital that the construction industry takes ownership of its environmental, economic and social responsibilities."
