Rival Loyalist Groups In Prison Clash

Rival groups of Ulster Defence Association prisoners have clashed after a disturbance in Maghaberry Prison on Friday.

The Prison service said two prisoners were injured in the incident.

According to a spokesperson, members of the mainstream loyalist group and members of the breakaway South East Antrim Brigade were involved in a fight in the recreation area of the Co Antrim prison's Bush House.

The feud was a continuation of tensions between the mainstream UDA and the South East Antrim faction.

The Prison Service said the incident was currently being investigated.
