Belfast company announces Dutch alliance
Belfast-based speech recognition software company blueChip Technologies has announced a strategic alliance with leading Dutch technology company G2 Speech.
G2 Speech, like blueChip, has developed a range of document efficiency solutions primarily for the legal and medical sectors and is the market leader in the Benelux region. Under this alliance, blueChip will have exclusive licence to market the suite of products in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The products, LegalSpeech and MediSpeech, include the core digital workflow and high-performance speech recognition features of blueChip’s own Ad Verbatim product set, as well as a range of enhanced features developed by G2 Speech in Holland.
In addition the companies plan to work together on further product development, maximising the core competencies of both organisations, incorporating the latest in speech recognition and computer telephony technologies which will be offered in the Benelux and Irish markets.
Commenting on the completion of the alliance Michael Black, CEO of BlueChip, said: “There is a natural fit between the companies which makes best use of the core technical competencies and market presence of each, and we are delighted to be working strategically with G2 Speech.”
