Tobermore To Create 100 Jobs In Derry
County Derry based concrete products manufacturer Tobermore has announced it is to create 100 new jobs as it embarks on an expansion costing £10 million.
Tobermore will build a new factory to accommodate for the increases in staff and production.
Speaking to the BBC, David Henderson, Managing Director for Tobermore, said that company sales had doubled in the last three years. He added: "For about seven years in a row now our sales have been rising by 25 to 30% a year which is a phenomenal level of growth to sustain.
"Each week we put out two million bricks, so the market is fantastically strong."
The company is a leading manufacturer of rectangular and interlocking paving blocks in Ireland with six offices nationwide.
