Portrush Stab Accused Faces Attempted Murder Charge
An attempted murder charge has followed a serious incident in Portrush when a 19-year-old man was taken to hospital after being attacked.
He was stabbed a number of times during the incident in the Crocknamack Street area on Saturday night.
An 18-year-old man has now been charged with attempted murder and is expected to appear at Coleraine Magistrate's Court.

Shot Man's Wounds 'Not Life Threatening'
A 35-year-old man has been shot twice in the leg inside a house in Twinbrook on the outskirts of Belfast. A young girl and a woman were in the house in the Summerhill Drive area when the attack happened on Wednesday night. However, it is not believed that the man's injuries are life threatening.

Belfast man pleads guilty to attempted murder charge
A Belfast man charged with attempted murder has pleaded guilty at court today. Gerard Donegan last week apologised for attacking Maurice McCracken in March 2003 with a hammer. The resulting injuries left the 56-year-old man severely brain damaged and unable to walk.

Man due in court on attempted murder charge
A 29-year-old man is due to appear at Lisburn Magistrates Court later today charged with attempted murder. The charge is connected with a shooting incident in the Stewartstown Road area of west Belfast last Wednesday, during which a 26-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to his leg.

Man Arrested On Attempted Murder Charge
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in North Belfast. Police received a report in the early hours of Monday, November 4, stating a man in his 30s was stabbed in the neck as he walked along the St Vincent Street area. The man was taken to hospital for his injuries.

A 31-year-old man who appeared before Lisburn Magistrates Court today has denied a charge of attempted murder. Sean Alphonsis Cochrane from Conway Link in the city was charged following the stabbing of a man on Wednesday evening.
