Killer Road Toll Rises
Death is again stalking the roads in Northern Ireland, as a man became the 102nd person to be killed.
His death followed a collision involving two vans near Loughguile in County Antrim, between Ballymena and Ballymoney.
The fatal accident happened at the Ballyveely Road's junction with the Pharis Road at about 11.20am this morning. The victim has not yet been named.
Police have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact officers in Ballymoney.
Meanwhile, the death earlier today of a 29-year-old woman injured in an accident in County Armagh at the weekend meant the grim toll hit had already topped the 100 mark.
Jennifer Cassidy was injured in the crash on Chapel Road, Bessbrook, at about 6.40pm on Sunday.
A mother of two from the village, it is understood her car crashed into a lamp post beside the Camlough Park housing development.
Police have today renewed their appeal for witnesses to the accident to get in contact with them.

Hard-Hitting Road Safety Message Delivered To Young People
Over 800 young people from schools in Lisburn and Castlereagh attended a hard-hitting road safety message at the PSNI Road Safe Roadshow on 19 November. The roadshow, supported by AXA Insurance and the Northern Ireland Road Safety Partnership, aims to educate young drivers about the dangers of irresponsible driving.

Man Dies In Workplace Accident In Co Armagh
A man has died in a workplace accident in Co Armagh. It is believed the man was crushed by a road roller while a new road surface was being laid on the Bog Road, Forkhill, on Wednesday, 31 May. Police and the Health and Safety Executive have launched an investigation.
