Six in court over drugs charges
Six people have appeared before North Antrim Magistrates today charged with drugs trafficking offences.
The five adults and one juvenile were arrested on Friday following a police raid on a flat in Eglantine Street, Portrush, Co Londonderry.
A variety of illegal substances were recovered, including amphetamine powder, ecstasy and prescription drugs.
The five adults were remanded in custody and the juvenile was bailed following the hearing.

Two arrested following police raids
Two men have been arrested following police searches in north Belfast. Two handguns, ammunition, drugs worth an estimated street value of £27,000, documents and around £17,000 in cash, were seized during the raids, which are believed to be linked to organised crime in the city.

A Newtownabbey man has been handed a custodial sentence for a series of drugs offences following police raids as part of a paramilitary probe. 49-year-old William Axon will serve two years imprisonment, half in custody and half on licence.

Three men arrested in separate drugs finds
Three men have been arrested following separate drugs finds in Belfast and Co. Londonderry on Monday. A 38-year-old man was arrested following the discovery of drugs, worth an estimated £50,000, in east Belfast. He was subsequently charged with being in possession cannabis with intent to supply following the drugs seizure at Garnerville.

Man And Woman Arrested In Connection With Drugs Offences
A man and a woman have both been arrested in connection with a number of drugs offences in north Belfast. The suspects, aged 46 and 51, were detained by officers from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force following two planned searches of houses in the Glencairn area on Thursday night, 16 August.

A man in his 30s has been arrested following several police searches in Belfast. The searches were carried out in the Shankill area on Friday morning, 02 September. They are part of an "ongoing commitment to tackle the supply of illegal drugs in the Belfast area", according to a PSNI spokesperson.
