Irish IT group secure email distribution contract

Irish IT company, e-blana enterprise group, has been appointed distributor of the Tovaris Email Security Solution (TESS) in the EMEA (Europe Middle East Africa) region.

American-based software company Tovaris, which focuses on addressing the online communications security needs of businesses, revealed that e-blana will establish a partner network across the EMEA region to resell and support their best-of-breed email security platform.

Confirming the contract, John Molloy, Managing Director of e-blana, said: "We are delighted to be responsible for the distribution of Tovaris Email Security Solution (TESS).

"The current global demand for superior information security means that the product suite has achieved considerable success in the US market to date. Here in Europe we believe that the emerging regulatory environment concerning corporate information security will drive demand for TESS to similarly high levels."

TESS enables enterprises to communicate securely via email with clients and business partners and is based on a network server appliance – SecureMail Gateway – that automatically encrypts outgoing and seamlessly decrypts incoming Internet email. Through its innovative SecureMessenger feature, TESS enables users to send encrypted email messages and attachments to, and receive encrypted messages from, Internet recipients who have nothing more than an SSL-capable Web browser.
