Deadly Shed Fire 'Not Suspicious'
A man in his 60s has died in a house fire in Co Fermanagh.
Enquiries are ongoing into the cause of the fire but it is understood that it is not being treated as suspicious.
The victim's two pet dogs have also perished in the blaze that started in a shed close to the house on the Snowhill Road in Lisballaw.
Emergency services were called to the scene just before 4.30pm on Thursday afternoon.
Police enquires into the fatal fire resumed today (Friday) but a spokesman said: "Initial inquiries suggest there were no suspicious circumstances."
The PSNI and the Fire and Rescue Service were made aware of the fire at the shed at Snowhill Drive at 4.25pm yesterday.
Senior firefighter John Hamill, from the Fire Service in Enniskillen, who has since returned to the scene of the blaze to conduct further examinations with staff from the Forensic Science Agency said: "We were called to a fire at a small workshop at the rear of a farmhouse and when we arrived, the fire was well developed.
"The roof of the building had collapsed and we found the body of a man and his two dogs inside.
"There is no indication this fire was suspicious but at this stage we don't know how it started."

An illuminated scroll is to be presented to Chief Fire Officer John McClelland on Tuesday, by assembly speaker Lord Alderdice in tribute to the sacrifice made by fire fighters over the years.

SF Calls For Action On NI Mental Health Services
Sinn Féin has called for more to be done to improve mental health services across the north of Ireland. The party's mental health spokesperson, MLA Órlaithí Flynn, made the call after the release of the Registrar General's 2023 Annual Report which has highlighted an increase in deaths by suicide in 2023.

The Home Fire Safety Check coincides with Fire Safety Week, which runs from September 30th to October 6th. The initiative aims to reduce the number of house fires in Northern Ireland.

Man Dies In House Fire In Co Tyrone
Police have launched an investigation after a man died in a house fire in Co Tyrone. The blaze happened at property on the Lissan Road in Cookstown on Tuesday morning, 15 November. Emergency services attended the scene however the man, aged in his 80s, was found dead at the scene. The fire is not believed to be suspicious.

Pensioner Dies After Being Injured In House Fire
A 93-year-old man who was injured in a house fire in Co Armagh on Sunday has died. The blaze happened in a bungalow in the Richmond Heights area, Richhill, at approximately 10.30pm. The victim and his 86-year-old wife were rescued from the fire by the emergency services, however the man died from his injuries at Craigavon Area Hospital on Tuesday.
