Banbridge Gets Scots Retail Planning Lessons
There's a bit of cross-channel co-operation taking place this week as Co Down businesses get some on-the-spot advice on retail matters from their Scottish counterparts.
A group, made up of councillors and officers of Banbridge District Council and local business representatives, are investigating the Alloa Town Centre's Business Improvement District, and also covering attitudes to out-of-town retail developments and town centre regeneration.
Alloa's Clackmannanshire Council is welcoming the visitors from Banbridge on 28 February to discuss retail planning in Clackmannanshire, business improvement districts, and how Clackmannanshire Business is at the forefront of this new business-led approach to development and regeneration.
The visitors will also have the opportunity to speak with local business leaders.
