DUP 'Illogical' On Policing: SF
Sinn Féin is accusing the DUP of adopting an illogical position on the devolution of policing and justice powers to Stormont.
The DUP is continuing to insist that the IRA Army Council must be disbanded before it will allow the power-sharing NI Executive to take over responsibility for policing.
This policy is at odds with that of Sinn Féin and the SDLP, as well as the Irish and British Governments.
Sinn Féin said there is 'no logic' to the DUP stance as the party is already sharing power with republicans on the NI Policing Board and District Policing Partnerships across Northern Ireland.
It also says the actual devolution of policing powers is not in dispute and the only contentious issue is one of timing.

Economy Minister Conor Murphy has launched the Business Innovation Grant (BIG), a new £4.3 million initiative designed to stimulate innovation and enhance productivity among Northern Irish businesses. The scheme, developed by Invest Northern Ireland and delivered in partnership with Innovate NI, is open to micro-businesses, sole traders, and SMEs.

SF Calls For Action On NI Mental Health Services
Sinn Féin has called for more to be done to improve mental health services across the north of Ireland. The party's mental health spokesperson, MLA Órlaithí Flynn, made the call after the release of the Registrar General's 2023 Annual Report which has highlighted an increase in deaths by suicide in 2023.
