September 11 exhibition opens on tragedy's first anniversary
An exhibition sampling the work of the writers, editors, and photographers who covered the events of September 11 is to take place in Belfast on the first anniversary of the attacks.
Numerous newspaper stories will be displayed at the exhibition representing the immediate visual and written record of September 11.
The stories recall not only the factual events, but also the thoughts and emotions of that day which have become known as "the first rough draft of history" by American newspaper publisher Philip Graham.
The exhibition will take place tomorrow at Linen Hall Library at 1.30pm and will run until Saturday September 28. (MB)
