Digger Operator Injured After Site Accident
A worker has been injured after an accident at a landfill site in Fermanagh.
The man is his 50s is seriously ill in hospital after the incident at the Drummee Waste Management Facility in Enniskillen yesterday afternoon.
It has been reported that the man, who was a contractor, was operating a Fermanagh District Council digger when the ground gave way.
The digger became submerged in water following the accident. A police spokesman said: "Initial reports suggest that a mechanical digger had toppled into a water-filled gulley."
Health and Safety are to launch an investigation into the incident today. A police investigation has also been launched.

Pedestrian Dies Following Road Traffic Collision Ikn West Belfast
A female pedestrian in her 70s has tragically died following a road traffic collision in west Belfast on Saturday, 9th November. The incident occurred on Hannahstown Hill shortly after 6:50pm when two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle. Emergency services attended the scene, and the injured pedestrians were taken to hospital.

Digger Accident Driver Dies
Injuries received in a Co Fermanagh site accident recently have resulted in the death of the digger driver involved. The incident took place at a refuse site in Enniskillen earlier this month leaving the victim, Ronnie Marshall, with serious injuries when his digger fell over and became partly submerged on 8 April. He has now died in hospital.

Man Killed In Farming Incident
A man has died in a farming accident in Co Fermanagh. The victim, 71, is thought to have been attacked by cattle on his farm near Ballinamallard. The incident happened over the weekend. An investigation is now being carried out by the Health and Safety Executive.
