Software Firm Announces 75 NI Jobs
In a carefully choreographed PR move, a software company owned by the New York Stock Exchange has today announced that it is to create 75 new jobs at its Belfast base.
Coming after yesterday's news that Cybersource - which handles millions of pounds worth of online payments - plans to recruit 56 software development professionals for a new NI facility, this is further good news as over 100 US executives representing approximately 80 companies arrived in the Province for a three-day investment conference.
The latest news, from Wombat, which develops software to speed up the delivery of electronic market data to hedge funds and investment banks came from the New York Stock Exchange Chief Executive at the opening session of the US-NI investment conference - which will see both the UK and the Irish PMs in attendance.
