Three die in separate road accidents
Three people have been killed in two separate road accidents yesterday.
At 11 o'clock yesterday morning an elderly couple were involved in a collision on Victoria Street in Londonderry's Waterside. The 79-year-old man, who has been named as Maurice Brennan, died shortly after the incident. His 75-year-old wife, Margaret, died in hospital a few hours later. The couple were from the Trehen area of Londonderry.
At around 10.20pm last night, a 70-year-old man was struck by a car whilst walking on the Glenpark Road, near Omagh. He has been named as Andrew Baxter from Beattie Park in Omagh.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident and for anyone who may have seen Mr Baxter prior to the accident to call them on 028 7136 7337.

Woman and child die in separate road accidents
Police are appealing for information after a woman and child died in two separate road accidents overnight. In Belcoo, Co Fermanagh, a three-year-old girl died after being hit by a car. The accident happened on the Railway Road at around 9.15pm on Monday. The girl is the third child to die on Northern Ireland's roads this year.

The names of two men who died in separate road accidents on Wednesday, 08 November, have been released. Ross Capper, aged 18, died following a collision on the Dungannon Road in Portadown. Wayne Alun-Roberts, aged in his 30's, was a passenger in a car which collided with a lorry on the Roguery Road in Toomebridge.
