Mixed fortunes for local sides as Milk Cup kicks off
Former Manchester United star, and current Wales manager, Mark Hughes has opened the 20th Milk Cup soccer tournament in Coleraine.
Fifty-four teams from across the world are in the North West for the biggest youth football tournament in Europe.
This year teams from 19 countries are battling it out in the three competitions with the South American contingent expected to do well.
In Monday's opening series of matches Northern Ireland representatives had mixed fortunes. In the junior competition holders Norwich were held scoreless by County Antrim at Cricket Park while County Armagh held Everton to a 2-2 draw. County Londonderry also gained a creditable scoreless draw against Middlesborough.
County Fermanagh weren't so lucky however when Swindon Town put four without reply past the home side. County Tyrone also lost to an English side going down 3-0 to Crewe Alexandra.

Jetstream Express drop Belfast flights
Jetstream Express has ceased operating flights between Blackpool and Belfast. Flights on routes between Aberdeen and Southampton have also been axed. In a statement Jetstream Express said: "We regret this action and the inconvenience it may cause but these routes have not proved viable.

Ulster Bank is to close 22 branches and sub-offices across Ireland. Eleven of the closures will be made in Northern Ireland and are expected to be brought into effect in June.
