IBM Jobs Boost For Dublin
A new IBM 'energy efficient' data centre is set to create 34 Dublin-based jobs, it has been revealed.
The €30m investment will provide a wide range of cost-effective IT services and IBM software for Irish customers and buyers in 84 countries around the world.
The company has dubbed the new HQ a 'green base', designed to optimise space and keep costs down
IBM said the centre will give clients access to massive internet-scale computing capabilities.
Tánaiste Mary Coughlan announced the investment plan: "This investment is excellent news for Ireland and is the third significant investment so far this year from IBM for Ireland.
