Travel agency to create 120 jobs at old plant
Keith Prowse Travel, which specialises in the distribution and sale of tickets, is set to create 120 new jobs in Donegal over the next three years at its new customer centre.
The British travel agency plans to start its initial recruiting stage next week for around 60 jobs at the centre in Buncrana, County Donegal. The centre is located on the former Fruit of the Loom plant in the town.
The new centre is the second such complex on a former Fruit of the Loom plant, vacated when the clothing company axed around 2,000 jobs in four plants around the county three years ago.
Preparations are also said to be at an advanced stage for the location of a Malaysian manufacturing plant in a former Fruit of the Loom factory in Dungloe.
