Stena Line brochure highlights NI attractions
Ferry company Stena Line has launched its award-winning day trips to Northern Ireland programme for 2002.
Stena Line's popular day trips have contributed significantly to Northern Ireland's tourism industry over the past few years, helping to attract more than 30,000 visitors to the province each year.
This year more than 100,000 copies of the Day Trips & Coach Tours to Northern Ireland 2002 brochure have been distributed throughout Scotland and the North of England, featuring all the top attractions in Northern Ireland – which is one of the most popular destinations for Scots.
Stena Line's Head of Marketing, Paul Grant, explained: "We've found that Scottish visitors to Northern Ireland keep coming back again and again, and our day trips over the last few years have been tremendously popular.
"The fast ferry revolution of recent years has made Northern Ireland more accessible to Scottish tourists. People in Scotland now realise that Northern Ireland is basically on their doorstep and just a short trip across the Irish Sea with lots of great attractions and days out on offer."
The 2002 Day Trips & Coach Tours to Northern Ireland brochure gives visitors a choice of options including great value inclusive coach tours throughout the province starting from only £18 per person – including return ferry travel on board the Stena HSS. There are nine different day trips to choose from, available six days per week, including trips to the Giant's Causeway, the Mountains of Mourne and the Ards Peninsula.
