Man has both legs broken in vicious attack
A man has had both his legs and his hand broken in a paramilitary style beating in County Armagh last night.
The 26-year-old man was at his home in the Forest Park area of Dromintee when he was dragged away by a gang of six hooded men at around 10.40pm.
He was then beaten with nail-studded sticks and suffered two broken legs and a broken hand. He was dumped about an hour later in Jonesboro.
Meanwhile, a 22-year-old man was shot in a paramilitary style attack in Monkstown around midday yesterday.
The victim was bundled into a white van by two masked men at shops in the Greenisland area.
He was then driven to an area at the back of shops in Monkstown where he sustained a gunshot wound to his right calf.

Co Fermanagh man suffers broken nose in robbery
A Co Fermanagh man has suffered a broken nose after being assaulted by two men at his home in Enniskillen. The 65-year-old man was confronted by two men who forced their way into his home on Sunday. They then assaulted him before robbing his home. It is understood that a sum of money was taken during the robbery.

Man Arrested Over Assault On Pensioner
A man has been arrested following an assault on a 72-year-old at his home on the Doagh Road are of Newtownabbey on Saturday. The elderly man received a suspected broken ankle and cuts to his face in the attack. The 20-year-old remains in custody for questioning.

Two Injured In Newtownabbey Attack
Two men have been injured following an attack in Newtownabbey on Monday night. A group of men assaulted the two men in Braden Glen at around 10.30pm. One of the victims is believed to have a suspected broken arm and leg, while the other man suffered swelling to the side of his head and a cut on his nose.

Two Men Released Over Portrush Assault
Two men arrested over an assault at a house in Portrush on New Year's Day have been released on bail. The attack happened just before 3am in the Dhu Varren Park area. A 44-year-old man was left with a suspected broken arm and a 69-year-old male was treated in hospital for cuts to his head.
