Consilium business solutions notch up record success
Belfast-based Consilium Technologies have announced taking onboard a record number of customers since the start of April.
Consilium have added 13 live customers and a further nine through their first year end with TASK Financials, one of the most widely used finance systems among small UK councils.
Now enjoying a 15% market share in the small council sector, the software package is produced by TASK, a member of the Consilium Technologies group, which develops software solutions aimed at local authority finance and contract services departments.
A number of the new contracts are with existing users who have upgraded from the Cobol version to the client server product which provides market-leading functionality on a modern technology platform.
TASK Contractor is one of the leading lines of business solution for Contract Services departments. It is also increasingly being sold in partnership with the leading suppliers of Housing Management systems.

A Belfast-based IT company has secured a half a million pound contract with an English county council thanks to its own integrated IT solutions system. Consilium Technologies’ flagship product, TASK Contractor has been selected by the property division of Derbyshire County Council in a contract worth over £580,000.
