Hermon And Cameron To Discuss Tory/UUP Pact
Lady Hermon - the Ulster Unionist Party's sole Westminster MP - is to meet with Commons opposition leader David Cameron later today.
It is believed the pair will discuss the recent voting alliance struck between the UUP and Tories.
Lady Hermon has been the most high-profile UUP member to raise concerns over the electoral link-up, although the North Down parliamentarian is yet to speak publicly on the issue.
It is believed Mr Cameron will host Lady Hermon at Westminster this afternoon.
Today will be her second meeting with Mr Cameron, who currently leads national opinion polls, since November.
When elected in 2001, Lady Hermon became the first woman to be returned to Westminster from Northern Ireland in almost 30 years.
She took the seat from former UK Unionist Party leader Robert McCartney.
Lady Hermon is currently the UUP's Westminster spokesman on Home Affairs, including Policing and Human Rights, Youth and Women's Issues, Culture, Media and Sport.
Upon the retirement of UUP leader Lord Trimble, Lady Hermon was highly regarded as his natural successor.
However, due to family commitments she did not challenge Sir Reg Empey for the role.
