GAA Star's Brother 'Critical' Following Assault
The brother of a Derry GAA footballer is in hospital, following an attack in Co Tyrone.
Connor McCusker, the 31-year-old brother of Derry vice-captain Niall McCusker, is in a critically ill condition following the incident which took place yesterday morning. A man in his 20s has been detained in relation to the incident, which took place outside a nightclub in James Street, Cookstown, early on Sunday morning. Mr McCusker, who is being cared for at Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital, suffered head injuries and underwent emergency surgery.

Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.

Four Arrested Following Disorder In South Belfast
Four men have been arrested following public disorder incidents in the university area of south Belfast on Thursday, November 14th. Police responded to a number of offences, including resisting and obstructing police, and assault on police. Three men, aged 18, 20, and 21, have been charged and are due to appear in court in December.

Fermanagh GAA Player Reconsiders Decision To Quit
A Lisnaskea GAA player who quit the sport due to sectarian abuse is reconsidering his decision after he received an apology from the Fermanagh GAA board. Darren Graham, 25, decided to give up the sport following incidents where he received sectarian abuse while playing for his County Fermanagh club.

Man, 21, Dies Following Road Collision
A 21-year-old man has died in hospital following a road traffic collision in Co Down. Paudraig Sweeney from Portaferry was involved in the collision which took place on the Rowreagh Road, between Portaferry and Kircubbin on Wednesday morning. Police investigating the incident are appealing for anyone who was travelling in the area between 6.45 - 7.

Sum of money stolen during robbery
Detectives in west Belfast are appealing for information following an armed robbery at Norglen Road yesterday morning. The driver of a lorry was reversing into a parking space, when he was approached by two men. One of the men was carrying a handgun.
