Dundonald Body Find 'Shattering' Says MP
A man's body has been found in a stream in east Belfast.
It was discovered in the Upper Newtownards Road area around 8.30am on Monday by a member of the public who reported finding the body near to Moate Park.
The PSNI said that officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
The Strangford MP Iris Robinson (pictured) said she has met with investigating officers and they remain open minded as to the cause of the man's death.
"Irrespective of the cause of this tragic incident my heart goes out to the family of the dead man whose lives will undoubtedly be shattered by this incident," she said.

County Down death "not suspicious"
Police investigating the death of a 51-year-old man in County Down yesterday evening, have confirmed that they are no longer treating it as suspicious. This follows the results of a post mortem examination which was carried out earlier today. The man's body was discovered in the Church Street area of Bangor last night.

The PSNI have reported the discovery of a body in the Maghera Area of County L'Derry. The discovery was made by officers investigating the disappearance of 21-year-old Lee Johnston. It is understood that the no official identification has yet been made.

Bomb Alert Was Hoax Says PSNI
A bomb alert in Newtownabbey has been declared a hoax. PSNI have described the security alert as an "elaborate hoax". The M5, was closed in both directions from Hazelbank to Doagh Road, on Tuesday night. All roads have re-opened.

Police are investigating the discovery of a man's body on the Glenshane Pass. The find was made this morning at around 11am close to the Ponderosa bar, which is claimed to be Ireland's highest at over 1,000ft.

Limavady Girl Found Dead Is Named
Rural Limavady is reeling today with news of the violent death of a young girl in the town. PSNI detectives are investigating the death of the 17-year-old, whose body was found in the Blackburn Path area of the town, at about 10.30pm on Wednesday night. The girl has been named locally as Wendy McAteer.
