Traditional Country Fair At Roe Valley
Part of Co Londonderry's rural beauty is going on show tomorrow.
Visitors to Limavady's Roe Valley Country Park will be transported back in time tomorrow for a one-off 'old fashioned' country fair.
The free event, which will run from 12 noon to 5pm, has been backed by the Northern Ireland Environment Agency, and will feature traditional crafts including willow weaving, wood carving, loom weaving and butter churning.
There will also be displays of maypole dancing and birds of prey.
The Armagh Rhymers will be adding themed entertainment, along with street theatre performers, face painters and jugglers.
Park Warden Gerard Cutmore said events, such as the fair, help encourage people to enjoy and appreciate their local natural environment.
"It also helps us educate the public about the work we do to conserve the environment and what they can do to help protect it for future generations to enjoy.
"We won't be charging any admission, so hopefully that should further encourage families to come along and see what's on offer."

Environment Minister Mark H. Durkan has visited a new environmental project at Claudy Country Park that is making a real difference to the rural area of Derry City Council. The Faughan Valley Landscape Partnership has worked to protect and enhanced the environment and heritage of this important area since its inception in June 2011.
