Tractor Driver Killed On Road

A 77-year-old man has died following a road crash near Dungiven. Police have named the Co Londodnderry victim as Anthony McCloskey, of Magheraboy Terrace, Dungiven.

Mr McCloskey was the driver of a Massey Ferguson tractor which was in collision with a Volkswagen Golf at Glenshane Road shortly after 7pm on Thursday.

Both vehicles had been travelling towards Dungiven from the Belfast side when the collision happened.

Meanwhile, six people were taken to hospital last night after a road accident outside Antrim.

Two cars were in collision at Seven Mile Straight, close to the Longrig Road junction, at around 5.30pm.

It is understood that two women, three men and a male child were hospitalised.

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Dies In Co Fermanagh Road Crash
A man has died in a road crash in Co Fermanagh. The one-vehicle collision happened on the Tattymacall Road in Lisbellaw at approximately 5.10pm on Monday, 05 September. The road has been re-opened. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
