Clinton UK Visit Confirmed
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will discuss a wide range of issues during her visit to the UK and Ireland later this week.
The United State's most powerful diplomat, and a former First Lady, will visit London, Belfast and Dublin as part of the trip.
Mrs Clinton is expected to arrive in the UK on October 9 and travel to Moscow a week later.
A US embassy official said: "In London and Dublin, Secretary Clinton will engage in a series of discussions on a wide range of bilateral, transatlantic, and global issues.
"In Belfast, the Secretary will emphasize the US commitment to the joint economic prosperity of Northern Ireland and the United States, as well as reaffirming unwavering US support for Northern Ireland's peace process."
In Moscow, Mrs Clinton will meet with senior Russian officials to discuss progress on a successor agreement to START, cooperation on nonproliferation and counterterrorism, and next steps for the Clinton-Lavrov commission.

Pensioners Benefit From 5% Increase In State Pension
The weekly full basic State Pension will rise by five per cent from £90.70 to £95.25 from today - almost an extra £5 a week. Around 12 million pensioners will benefit from this increase in their State Pension, the biggest percentage increase since 2001.
